Retro U. has strayed off the "defunct college football bowl game" path to create a vintage-style t-shirt to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Marquette University's NCAA men's basketball championship. The 1977 Warrior basketball team finished 25-7, including a dramatic 67-59 win over North Carolina in the national title game in Atlanta. The game was legendary coach Al McGuire's last as a head coach. The Warriors' top performers were Bo Ellis, Jerome Whitehead and Butch Lee.

The shirt is available at the Marquette Spirit Shop on the campus of Marquette University in Milwaukee. Additional retail outlets will be announced soon.
