Played at Phillips Field in Tampa, Florida, the Cigar Bowl went from 1947 to 1952.  The first game was played on New Year’s Day 1947 between Delaware and Rollins.  Our retro-themed design celebrates the 1951 Cigar Bowl in which the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse defeated Valparaiso 47-14.
